Ways to Donate Your gift to the Wilson Research Foundation at Methodist Rehabilitation Center helps people with disabling illnesses and injuries recover ability and recover hope by funding state-of-the-art research that leads to state-of-the-art patient care.
There are a number of ways you can support this mission and ministry.
A gift of cash to The Wilson Research Foundation is deductible.
- Become a Research Fellow by donating a minimum of $1000 per year.
- If you work for a matching gift company and request a corporate match, your gift can be doubled in value.
Charitable lead trusts provide current support for The Wilson Research Foundation and allow you to pass substantial assets on to your children and grandchildren free of estate and gift taxes.
Life income gifts allow you to make a substantial gift to The Wilson Research Foundation now, and yet continue to receive the income from the cash, securities or other property contributed. Charitable remainder unitrusts and annuity trusts are tax advantageous.
Life insurance policies can offer significant tax savings.
Memorials, honorariums and special occasion gifts are important sources of funds. Giving to The Wilson Research Foundation as a memorial opportunity after the death of a loved one or to mark a milestone in someone's life is a wonderful honor. An acknowledgement card is sent promptly to the family of the one being remembered or to the person being honored by the donor.
A bequest in your will can provide support for the future of The Wilson Research Foundation as well as estate tax savings for you and your heirs.
A gift of real estate is often beneficial. You can avoid tax on any capital gain while realizing a deduction for full market value. You may also wish to consider a gift of personal residence or a farm and reserve the right to continue to live in the house or on the farm for life. And, you may wish to consider a gift of personal property (items of value) which can offer outstanding tax benefits.
A gift of securities offers a two-fold tax savings. You can avoid paying any capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock since its purchase, and you receive a tax deduction for full market value.
Please make a contribution today, and you will help our patients recover ability and recover hope: http://www.methodistonline.org/fundraising/donate_now.php
