The doctor is back in: Grief counselor returns to work following a stroke
As a grief counselor, Dr. Gladys Johnson has dedicated her life to helping people in times of crisis.

But on March 17, she found herself in a crisis of her own.

How We Compare: What You Need to Know

First, you need to know that you have a choice.

Choosing a hospital for rehabilitative care is a major decision—one that will affect every aspect of a patient’s life. Those who have suffered brain injury, spinal injury, stroke or other neurologic or orthopedic illness deserve the best possible chance at recovery.

What should you look for? Proven expertise.

For more than 30 years, Methodist Rehabilitation Center’s sole focus has been to provide treatment for people with neurologic or orthopedic illnesses or injuries.

We don’t deliver babies. We don’t treat cancer.

Instead, we offer the most comprehensive programs for stroke, spinal and brain injury survivors. But our expertise doesn’t stop there. Through our orthopedic, neurologic, amputee and pain management clinics, we provide care for a wide range of people—from amateur athletes with sports injuries to those with chronic pain.

Before you choose a hospital for yourself or your loved one, we invite you to compare our experience and the services we offer to other rehabilitation facilities in Mississippi.
